Mr. James M. "Jim" Forney

James McGee Forney Jr., 62, of Harrisburg and formerly of Beaver County, passed away on October 21, 2014 at his home.  Jim was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School class of 1970 and Carnegie Mellon University.  Jim graduated with a degree in electrical engineering and went on to work over 30 years for Duquesne Light in Shippingport, Pennsylvania.

 Jim is survived by sisters; Barbara F. Perry of Harrisburg and Susan M. Smith (Scott) of Hanover, nieces; Brittany N. Smith, Olivia F. Perry ,Meredith S. Perry, Natalie M. Smith and nephews Cody J. Smith and George A. Perry as well as his uncle, J. Charles Forney Jr. and many cousins including  Jake Forney, David Forney and John (Rho)Varhola. Jim had a host of beloved friends including Tim Dailey, Margie Lehocky, Danielle Sturges (and girls) and his loyal Chihuahua, Poquito.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 7 pm., visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm at Gilbert Dailey Funeral Home on 650 S. 28th Street, Harrisburg Pa.17103.
