Sally A. Kane Obituary

Sally A. Kane, 81, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on February 10, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family. Sally was born on April 12, 1938 to Lidwin Neary and Mary (Cashmere) Neary in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. Sally was a member of Our Lady of The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Harrisburg where she worked as the school secretary and parish receptionist for many years. Prior to retirement she also worked for the Harrisburg School District where she continued to touch the lives of many in the community. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, mom, aunt and grammy. She cherished visits from her grandchildren, enjoyed talking to her friends, completing her puzzle books, watching Family Feud, and making "the best turkey sandwiches" for her grandchildren. Sally is predeceased by her husband Thomas E. Kane, brothers Edward and Thomas Neary, her sisters Mae Farrell and Patricia Neary. Sally is survived by her daughter Suzanne E. Noll, husband John, of Lower Paxton, her daughter Patricia A. Ferricks, husband Daryl, of Hopewell Township, her son Thomas M. Kane, wife Carrie, of Susquehanna Township, grandchildren, Dustin and Derek Noll, Jessica and Jason Ferricks, and Brandon and Braxton Kane as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 2121 N 3rd St, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. till time of Mass. Burial immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery.
