Edward S. Zlogar Obituary

Edward S. Zlogar, 101, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025. He was born on September 8, 1923, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Anna and Louis Zlogar. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Dragovich) Zlogar, and lived a full, vibrant life full of love, and dedication to his family. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and was a lifelong member of the Colonial Park Fire Company and served as treasurer.


An avid hockey fan, he was known for his spirited enthusiasm for the sport, whether watching games or discussing plays with his family. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


He is survived by his sons, Robert Zlogar (Lourie) and Tom Zlogar (Mary),along with six grandchildren: Will (Lisa), Tim (Kim), Liz (Dan),Victoria (Shawn), Robyn (Michael), Kristen, and ten great grandchildren: Will, Sofia, Evan, Kadyn, Brayden, Lucas, Asher, Atlas, Violet, and Elliot.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 6, 2025, at Seven Sorrows Catholic Church in Middletown, PA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial.

Ed will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, and joyful spirit. He touched the lives of many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
