Obituary of Lucinda A. Pillock
Please share a memory of Lucinda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lucinda ‘Cindy’ Ann (Shero) Pillock, a beloved wife, Mom, Gram, and Great Gram, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 88, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 1, 1937, Cindy’s life was dedicated to helping others. If you needed anything, everyone knew to call Cindy. She volunteered for decades at St. Margaret Mary’s church & school. She helped friends with crafts, taught sewing, crocheting & knitting to anyone interested in learning. She tirelessly sewed clothes for her daughters & their Barbie dolls. While doing all that she worked full time at Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU).
Later in life, Cindy & her friends made thousands of lap quilts & donated them to local hospitals, shelters, and senior living facilities. Cindy truly enjoyed helping others.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Harry, daughters, Paula (Dave), Anita (Dave), and Linda (Todd). She was blessed to have four grandchildren, Benjamin, Abraham (Cari), Ryan (Sara), and Alex, and one great grandchild, Addison Grace. She was predeceased by her siblings, Richard and Anne.
Mass will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and, in Cindy’s honor, the family would like people to volunteer time at their organization of choice thus continuing her legacy of kindness and love.
