Obituary of Margaret A. Williams

Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Margaret “Marge” Ann (Pitzen) Williams (Hershey, PA), 95 went to her eternal rest on March 18, 2025. Marge grew up in Ft. Wayne, IN but raised her children in upstate New York. The family moved to Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Georgia in 1973 after purchasing the Tides Motel. Marge hated every minute of the 6 years they owned the motel. After selling it, she and her husband loved travelling. They visited all 48 Continental US states and went to Europe when Linda was in the Army stationed in Germany. After her husband passed, Marge lived in Mississippi with Ann and Eric before returning to upstate New York. In 2021, she moved to Hershey, PA and lived independently in a senior living center where she enjoyed her remaining years. Marge was known for the contagious smile she took with her everywhere and her cheerful attitude…and luck at BINGO. She will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter J. Pitzen and Marie A. Kintz, her husband, Robert H. Williams, her brothers, Frederick “Zeke” Pitzen, Roger Pitzen, Thomas Pitzen and Reverend Paul Pitzen, her sisters, Rita Pitzen, Theresa Edsall, Martha Bradfield, Zita Johnson, and Agnes Pitzen, her daughter, Donna Carter and her great-granddaughter, Chloe Auner. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Ann Westbrook (Hummelstown, PA), Patt (Bill) Main (Hinesville, GA) and Linda (Tim) Lehman (Hummelstown, PA), her son, Eric Williams (Palmyra, PA), her brother, Peter Pitzen II (Belleville, MI) and her sister, Mary (Dan McCoy) Renninger (Ft. Wayne, IN). She also leaves behind numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Country Meadows Retirement Communities, ATTN: Co-Workers Foundation, 830 Cherry Dr, Hershey, PA 17033, Checks payable to: Country Meadows Co-Worker Foundation, or at www.Country Meadows.com/Donate.
