Obituary of Mary Margaret D'Amico

Mary Margaret (Molly) D’Amico passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 from complications of a life time of chronic illnesses. Molly was the daughter of Leonard L. D’Amico and Mary Margaret O’Brien D’Amico. She was born in Mahanoy City, PA on September 30,1947.
Molly is survived by her siblings, Leonard and wife Patti, Jon and wife Martha, Ann, Margaret and husband Mark Lebo, and dearly loved nieces and nephews. She took great delight and pride in Heather, Colonel Christopher, Matthew D’Amico and his wife Moriah and their son Max; Timothy D’Amico, Benjamin Lebo and his wife Patricia and Kathryn Lebo.
Molly graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School Class of 1965. She earned degrees from HACC and Penn State as well as a Master’s Degree in Psychology. She was enrolled in a PhD program but she was unable to complete the degree work due to compromised health issues.
Molly had varied interests from classical music to growing and pressing flowers as well as an insatiable appetite for current events and news programming. She had an uncanny ability to make friends wherever she was and to hold those friendships close. She is greatly missed.
Molly will be remembered on April 29th at 10:00 a.m. at a visitation at St. Margaret Mary Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, followed by an 11:00 a.m. mass and burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
