Joan A. Cover 81, of Lower Paxton Twp., passed away on March 25, 2026 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. Joan was born on July 26, 1944 in Harrisburg, PA., and was a daughter to the late John B. Krohn and Margie (Shoop) Krohn.

Joan retired from the Capital BlueCross Insurance Co. Joan met and married Richard E. Cover to whom she was married until his passing in 1987. Joan had a longtime companion after Richard’s passing Thomas C. Kramer who preceded her in death.

Joan was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, the Linglestown American legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Progress Fire Company ladies auxiliary. Joan cherished spending time with her family and loved cooking family meals.

Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly L. Behrens and her husband John, step-sisters, Tina Sinkovitz, Cindy Diehl and her husband Terry, a step-son, Jeffery Cover and his wife Kelly, grandchildren, Keegan Behrens, Jaydan Behrens, Nathan Behrens, Casey Sinkovitz, Tyler Sinkovitz, Jeremy Sills, great grandchildren, Ruger and Natalia Behrens and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to parent, husband and companion Joan was preceded in death by brothers, John B. Krohn Jr. and Robert Krohn.

Services will be held at the family’s convenience.
