In Loving Memory of Mary Elizabeth Miller

Mary Miller (Shrauder), aged 45, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Even through the hardest treatments, she never lost her sense of humor or her determination to live fully.

Born on August 26, 1980 in Carlisle, PA, to Kim & Bonnie Shrauder. Mary was a graduate of Halifax High School and Central Penn College. Mary was a pillar of kindness, strength, laughter and grace. She was a devoted mother and the heart of our family. Her heart was as big as her smile. She faced every challenge with unwavering courage and inspired all who knew her with her drive, warmth and compassion. She fought every day and never gave up!

She was preceded in death by her father Kim Shrauder, Grandparents Sadie Swartz, Harry & Mary Sipe, Aunt Linda Roadcap

She will be deeply missed by her entire family, mom, sisters, daughter, boyfriend, cousins, aunts, uncles, and all of her friends and remembered for her laughter, her generosity, and her ability to make everyone feel valued. Mary would go out of her way to make sure everyone else was ok. When Mary said “I DO WHAT I WANT” she meant it. Including being there for everyone and anyone that Mary knew always putting herself last.

Mary found joy in party planning. Her famous saying was “nothing too big” we laugh because it never went that way quite the opposite every time. She was a Philadelphia Eagles fan, she had a love for turtles, the beach, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Mary looked forward to annual OCMD beach trips and going out of the country with a group of friends. Mary was involved and enjoyed doing several volunteer projects as an Auxiliary member of the VFW and Legions . Toys for tots was always on her to do list. During her chemo treatments and battling this disease she found the strength and time to make all of her nurses and care givers gift baskets, personalized gifts, happy nurse day gift bags and more. She did not miss a beat.

Jadyn is who gave Mary the drive to fight and never give up. Mary made sure Jadyn was always # 1 Priority and got her through these difficult times. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to her daughter.

A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
