John Joseph Nissley Obituary

John Joseph (Jack) Nissley, 80 of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully January 8th, 2020 at Doctor's Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. He was surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born in Harrisburg to Joseph and Miriam Nissley. He graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg 1957 and went on to graduate from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, 1961. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Thomas Ober Nissley. Jack began his career as a sales representative. He then went on to be a successful entrepreneur who, in 1995, founded Single Point Sourcing, a printing company located in Dillsburg, PA. He will always be remembered as a legendary figure in the area, and as a former President of Colonial Country Club making huge contributions to the community. The most important thing to Jack was his family and friends. Jack is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Schreffler Nissley, his two daughters Lisa Nissley Cole of Chadds Ford and her husband Robert, Jacquelyn Nissley Becattini of Malvern and her husband Fernando, and his son John Joseph Nissley, Jr. of Harrisburg and his wife Tracy, and eleven grandchildren; John Robert Cole M.D., Benjamin Joseph Cole, Samuel Brace Cole, Sarah Anne Muhlenberg, Jacquelyn Sara Becattini Shortall, Niccolo Fernando Becattini, Katherine Margaret Becattini, John Matteo Becattini, John Joseph Nissley, III, Zoe Alana Nissley, and Luke Allan Nissley. He touched many lives of those who surrounded him. Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Margaret Mary's Alacoque Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Rd., Harrisburg. PA. Friends may call on the family at the church from 9:15 - 10:45 am.
