Obituary of Kenneth G. Shoop

Kenneth G. Shoop passed away on August 2, 2015 at his home in Harrisburg PA. He was born on September 17, 1951 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Jay A. Shoop, Jr. and Elsie Mae (Morris) Shoop. He was a graduate of Susquehanna High School, worked for Electric Service & Machine Co, then at W.W. Grainger's for 40 years. He retired, and planned to start wood crafting as a business, as well as a hobby. He had his own personal workshop and crafted gifts for friends and family; pens, woodcraft, leather- never making a profit, just the enjoyment of giving. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Del Williams) Shoop, his daughter; Anne Shoop, grandchild; Mitchell (fiancé Sarah Knehr) his son; Jeremiah Shoop (Beth Shoop), grandchildren; Jenna and Jata, his sister; Sherry Shoop, his niece Christina and nephew Joshua, and his brother; Dale Shoop (Stacey Shoop), as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society of Central PA.
