Obituary of Margaret Mary Lanshe

Margaret Mary Lanshe, 63, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away Monday October 13, from complications related to Breast Cancer. She was born in Harrisburg, PA to Patricia and Harold Lanshe on February 4th, 1951. Margaret graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, PA received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Margaret received her Master's degree in Business, as well as a Master's degree in Communications. Following college, Margaret became the Personnel Director of Pennsy Supply. Within several years, Margaret began working for Highmark Blue Shield, where she became project manager, director, senior director, vice president, and then became the first female CEO of Synertec, a subsidiary of Highmark Blue Shield. She began her own consulting business in 1999, where she became CEO of her health insurance consulting firm. Margaret had two children, her daughter Annie, and son Julian, with whom she moved to Hershey, PA in 1995, into a beautiful home she built. Margaret was such an independent, successful and loving woman, who dedicated her life to enriching the lives of those around her. Margaret was also a devoted and loving mother, with unconditional love for her children. She loved traveling, the clear blue ocean, and most importantly, her family. Even in her final days, a smile never left her beautiful face. She is survived by her children, Annie and Julian, her brother Harold, and a sister, Patianne and Uncle John, Her wonderful spirit and life will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct 21st at Dailey Funeral Home 650 S. 28th St. Harrisburg PA 17103 at 7PM. Visitation will be from 6-7PM at the funeral home.
