Mary Jane embodied "Fraternity, Charity, and Loyalty" from early childhood through advanced years. Whether donating an organ to the Swissvale G.A.R. (Grand Army of the Republic) home fifty years ago, or conducting weekly Bingo for veterans in recent times, she deeply cared for others. A Dr. Mary E. Walker recipient, she maintained active roles in all Allied Orders. Her 70 plus years membership in the Ladies G.A.R. is stellar. Her passion was her beauty I shall remember her polished banquet speeches, quick gait, and candid remarks. Deepest condolences to her beloved nephew, sisters and brothers of the Allied Orders. In Fraternity, Charity, and Loyalty, Dorothy Frye Walker Past President, Department of PA, and Starkweather Circle, Ladies Grand Army of the Republic.
