Obituary of Maureen Hall

Maureen Hall of Harrisburg PA, passed away at the age of 65 at B'Nai B'Rith Apartments on Monday, January 14, 2019, after a long battle with illness. She was born on January 11, 1954, to the late Thomas Lee Hall and Mae Haggar (Jones) Hall. Maureen graduated from William Penn Senior High School in 1972. She was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania after high school and recently associated with a local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Maureen, affectionally called "Marty" by her family, loved her many nieces, nephews and cousins dearly; many of whom she babysat when they were small. She loved children, jewelry and music, and especially loved to dance. Laughter was her favorite emotion. Marty was preceded in death by parents, her brothers Charles Isaiah Hall and Thomas Hall, and sisters Gertrude Murph and Lucretia (Pat) Gladden. She is survived by two sisters, Beatrice Conrad and Delores Taylor, both of Harrisburg. Marty leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved her and who will cherish their fond memories of her. A Memorial Service to honor her will be held on January 26, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. in the Pheasant Hill Estates Community Room, 4400 Pheasant Hill Road, (off of Linglestown Road) Harrisburg, PA 17110.
