Obituary of Norma L. Meadows

Norma L. "Grimwood" Meadows, 95, of Emeritus at Harrisburg and formally of Paxtonia passed away Sunday, December 14th, peacefully. Norma was born in Harrisburg on October 29, 1919, a daughter of the late Hazel (Frymeyer) and Edward Knuth. Norma was a graduate of Lemoyne High School, a member of the former 29th Street EUB Church. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, camping and managed the Elizabethtown Campground for many years. Poinsettias were her favorite flower. Norma was the widow of Robert E. Meadows. Surviving are sons William H. and wife Loretta Grimwood, of Mechanicsburg, Terry W. and wife Suzann Grimwood, of Harrisburg, a brother, Robert Whitcomb, of Mechanicsburg, 14 Grandchildren, 22 Great grandchildren, 8 Great great grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Stanley H. Grimwood Jr. Funeral Services will be held at The Dailey Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 20th, with Rev. Edward L. Hinton officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
