Obituary of Paul R. Molnar
Paul R. Molnar, 80, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Ecumenical Retirement Community in Harrisburg. Paul was born in Johnstown, PA on September 11, 1938, the son of the late Eugene Molnar, Sr. and Anna (Paul) Molnar. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Molnar. He is survived by his brothers, Eugene Molnar, Jr. and spouse Donna (Fisher) Molnar of Johnstown, and Albert Molnar and spouse Georgia (Harnagy) Molnar of Pittsburgh, and his sister Mary Ann Lantzy of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces. Paul retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry in 1998, where he served as an Unemployment Compensation Specialist . Paul enjoyed spending time on the golf course and on trips to casinos. He was a former member of the Keystone Capital Chorus and a barbershop quartet. He frequently participated as the senior citizen witness for the Pennsylvania Lottery drawings. He was active in his parish as a devote Catholic. Viewing will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 7PM-9PM at the Dailey Funeral Home 650 South 28thSt. Penbrook, PA 17103. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road in Harrisburg. He will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Nanty Glo, PA with his parents near his hometown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to Saint Margaret Mary Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg, PA.
