Obituary of Sondra C. Petrasic

Sondra Collette Petrasic, 81, of Harrisburg, returned to God on May 8, 2018 at UMPC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital. God sent her to us on November 14, 1936. Sondra was born in Altoona, PA to parents Ann O'Connor and William Deibler. She was united in marriage with Lynn Edward Petrasic on April 27, 1957, sharing a life together for 61 years. She was a working mother while raising four children. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Kevin, Kerry and Keith and their spouses, daughter Kathleen Sullivan and her husband, and fourteen grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister and best friend, Janice Garrison, her brother-in-law, two nephews and their spouses. Over many years the two families shared together vacations, holidays, and frequent gatherings. Sondra was a kind, thoughtful and selfless person, a loving wife and mother, and adoring grandmother. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 14, 2018, 11:00 am at St. Margaret Mary Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bishop McDevitt High School, One Crusader Way, Harrisburg, PA 17111, for a scholarship fund in memory of Sondra.
