Obituary of Ernest Anthony DeFrank Jr.

Ernest “Ernie” Anthony DeFrank Jr., 77, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania passed on September 1, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born December 4, 1942 to Ernest Anthony DeFrank Sr. and Gladys (Conrad) DeFrank in Steelton, Pennsylvania. Ernie was first and foremost a family man, devoted to his wife and kids. Devoutly religious, Ernie was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He also loved to listen to music, coached basketball, and enjoyed Penn State Football. Ernie is preceded in death by his sister Linda DeFrank. He is survived by his loving wife RoseMarie DeFrank, his sons David M. DeFrank and Daniel M. DeFrank, his brothers Dennis DeFrank and Stephen DeFrank, his grandchildren Desiree DeFrank, Devin DeFrank, and Elise DeFrank, his great grandchild Charlotte Lochead, and 2 nieces and 2 nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish and/or the St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church Adoration Chapel. A memorial service will be held at the family’s discretion at a later date.
