Obituary of Betty Jane Grady

Betty Jane Grady, 91, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania passed peacefully on April 29, 2021. She was born to Elzie Prowell Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Leber on January 24, 1930 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was also a graduate of John Harris Class of 1947. Betty will forever be remembered as a loving mother, willing to do anything for anyone. After retiring from Carlisle Tire and Rubber and AMP Incorporated, she was a long-time volunteer at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. Betty also enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Elks as well as the Loyal Order of Moose. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, former spouse Joseph Grady, son Gary L. Grady, brother Elzie Prowell Jr., and sister Dorothy Mueser. She is survived by her children Richard Grady and Donna Marie Annis, husband Christopher, brother Harry Prowell, grandchildren Ashley Annis, Cody Annis, Brendan Grady, Colin Grady, and Nina Gonzalez, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter.
