Carol A. Whitaker Obituary

Carol Ann Whitaker passed away peacefully, on April 3, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Carol is predeceased by her Mother Lillian, Father Henry, daughter Jolynn, brother Ronald, and nephew Greg. She is survived by her Husband Lee Whitaker Jr., Son Charles,Daughter Shelly & Husband John Smith, Niece Candace, Grandchildren Christopher, Jennifer, Megan, Whitney, Kyle, Great-grandchildren Dominic, Marco, Violet as well as many other extended family members. Carol worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield for many years and enjoyed waitressing at the Locust St. Cafe in Harrisburg, PA. Carol was an eccentric personality, always willing to listen but never afraid to tell you what she was truly thinking. She loved her daytime shows, candy, cleaning, getting her hair done, and spending time with her family. To say Carol was one of a kind almost feels like an understatement. She was a riot in a wheelchair, always creating songs and making jokes about anything & everything to make anyone and everyone laugh. She will be missed indefinitely. We will be holding a celebration of her life at a later date.
