Obituary of Santo Domenico Tuzzato

Domenico Tuzzato, 88, passed away on the morning of April 13th in Harrisburg, PA. Domenico was born in Catona Reggio Calabria, Italy on November 1st, 1933. In his early twenties, he completed his service in the Italian Army, and then studied and trained to become a master tailor. During this time, he met his future wife, Giulia M. Tuzzato, and married her on April 11th, 1964. In the late sixties, he was sponsored by David Martin department store to relocate to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to utilize his tailoring skills. His wife and children joined him in 1974. Throughout the upcoming years he diligently served customers for David Martin and Bon Ton Department stores. One of his greatest passions in retirement was to tend to his roses and plants. Domenico is preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppina Tuzzato (Napoli) and Giuseppe Tuzzato, his sister, Italia Tuzzato, his brother, Pietro Tuzzato, and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Giulia M. Tuzzato, his three children Giuseppe Tuzzato, Paola Schiano-Lomoriello (Tuzzato), and Domenico Tuzzato. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Gilbert L. Dailey Funeral Home on April 20, 2022 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Mass will be held on April 21, 2022 at 10:00AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1439 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103.
