"When an old man dies, a library burns to the ground" (African Proverb) This proverb tells a lot about my Uncle, Harlen Rash. He was filled with wisdom from his life experiences, that he would gladly share with his family and others whom he encountered on his journey in life, starting on the family farm in Louisville, Mississippi and expanding throughout his life ending in Harrisburg, PA. One of his favorite quotes was from his grandmother Cora that he always would mention after telling a life lesson that you might have known. "It's good to be reminded of the things you already know". Rest In Peace, Uncle Harlen.
