Obituary of Badia Miller O'Brien

Badia Miller O’Brien passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 27 th , 2022, at her home in Harrisburg PA. Born July 3 rd 1974 in Philadelphia PA, she was the daughter of Linda D. McIntyre and Fred C. Miller III. As the oldest of four children, Hanif Miller, Karima Miller, Sabriya McWilliams, Badia was a natural born leader. She was on student council in Emlen elementary school, Ada Lewis middle school and Beaver Creek High School in North Carolina where she also won 1 st runner up in a beauty pageant. She was a triple threat, demonstrating talent in music, dancing and acting. Her strong passion for music was evident at a very young age through her playing the violin, singing and rapping. Badia was well liked and admired by her peers for her outgoing and warm personality, and she never shied away from sharing her gifts and talents. In 2010 Badia married Edward O’Brien and moved to Harrisburg, PA with her three children Elias, Joshua, Agape’ and her bonus son Jaden. While in Harrisburg, Badia shared with others the love of the Most High by writing, creating and performing music. To many she was a teacher, a mentor, a trust friend, a “Big SIS” and a homegirl. To her family she was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, and sister. Badia was confident and bold in who she was in The Most High and her faith never wavered. She is survived by her father, Fred C. Miller III, her siblings, Hanif Miller, Karima Miller and Sabriya McWilliams, her loving and devoted husband Edward O’Brien and her hearts, her loving children, Elias, Joshua, and Agape Jeter.
