Donald D. Rickert, Jr., 72, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2024, at Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing, Pottstown. He was born on October 4, 1951, to Donald D. Rickert, Sr. and Gladys (Ebersole) Rickert in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Donald worked as a Transporter for Harrisburg Hospital and retired after 40 years of diligent work.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Barbara Newmyer and Carol Bowers, and brother-in-law Donald (Woody) Wotring. He is survived by his sister Nancy Wotring, brother-in-law Harvey “Shorty” Newmyer, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the discretion of the family.
