Mary R. Ziegler, 73, of Middletown PA, formerly of Mt. Penn PA died Wednesday

June 5 th at about 4:00PM. Born in Reading, PA on November 29 th , 1950, she was the

daughter of the late Eugenia (Ziembicki) Wagaman, and Harold Wagaman.

Mrs. Ziegler worked at the Reading Hospital in health care for most of her life.

First as an LPN from 1979 to 1988, then as a Respiratory Therapist from 1988 to 2007.

She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Mount Penn for

most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore P. Ziegler Jr. and by her

parents. Surviving are two sons: Stephen T. Ziegler of Middletown, PA and Christopher

H. Ziegler of Garner, NC.

Mary loved to go to the beach with her family. Even towards the end of her life

she still insisted on taking a summer vacation every year to a beach somewhere. She

enjoyed crocheting and made many Afghans for her children when they were first born

and again towards the end of her life. She absolutely loved her cats as well and always

insisted on having at least two as pets over the years, sometimes more.

A viewing will be held on Saturday June 15 th at 10AM in St. Catherine of Sienna

Roman Catholic Church, and a Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at

11AM. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter. Dailey Funeral Home of

Harrisburg is overseeing the arrangements.
