James C. Miceli Obituary

James Charles Miceli, 77, passed away peacefully, July 3rd, surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife Chris (Regan), daughter Christy (Tom), and sons Jimmy (Lori) and Dennis, as well as his seven grandchildren; Duncan Rock and Brody Rock, Dominic, Anthony and Jacqueline Miceli, and Abby and Michael Miceli.


Jim was born in Middletown, PA to James and Gerry Miceli. He was a 1964 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and earned his bachelor degree from California University of PA. Jim spent his career in the insurance industry. He also served in The United States Army Reserve.


Jim had a great love of baseball having played from his youth through college and in many sandlot teams through the years. He took pride in coaching his kids baseball and softball teams as well as many other youth sports teams throughout the area. He finished out his coaching career at the Linglestown Twilight League. He was an avid golfer and took every opportunity to be out on the course!


A viewing has been scheduled for 6-8pm on Monday July 8th at Dailey Funeral Home, 650 S 28th St, Harrisburg, PA, and 10-11am Tuesday, July 9th at St. Matthews Church, 607 Stoney Creek Dr, Dauphin, PA 17018. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday July 9th at 11am at St. Matthews Church in Dauphin, PA.
