Patricia Anne Cartwright age 89, of Harrisburg passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Columbia Cottage of Linglestown. Patricia was born on June 21, 1935 in Norristown, PA., and was a daughter to the late Francis and Anna (Hoey) Taschner.

Patricia graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in Norristown, PA.

Patricia was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church of Harrisburg where she was involved with the churches funeral ministry and a member of the church choir for many years. She was a former member of The Harrisburg Harp Orchestra, The Philadelphia Civic Opera Corps de Ballet.

Patricia enjoyed all the wonderful years being married to her late husband Charles F. Cartwright, playing the harp and piano, spending time with her children, grandchildren and loved traveling.

Patricia is survived by her sons Christopher and his wife Beth, Michael and his wife Luann, Matthew and his wife Christi, grandchildren, Christopher, William, Andrew, Mary, Joseph, Jack, Brian, Jessica, Kevin, Cade, great grandchildren, Owen, Jude, Ellie, Ambellina, Jeanine and a sister Nancy Lohr.

In addition to her parents and husband Patricia is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Taschner.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg, PA. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 10:00 AM prior to Mass. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA.

The family would like to thank both the staff at Columbia Cottage and Lifesong Hospice for all the kindness shown to their mother and family.
