George Csurics, 79, of Susquehanna Twp., Harrisburg, died Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Oak Hill Village in Middletown.

George was born on March 15, 1945.The son of the late Louis S. and Catherine (Sinkovitz) Csurics. George was married to his loving wife Marcia (Vranicar) in 1970. Marcia predeceased him in 2023. George grew up in Harrisburg. He was a Charter member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish and attended Bishop McDevitt High School, graduating in 1963. He also graduated from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. George proudly served in the U.S. Army in the I Field Force, Vietnam, as Fire Direction Control Specialist 5th Class 1966-1968. George worked and retired from Krehling Industries. George loved to do woodworking projects, gardening, cooking, and being with family. He made many happy memories through the years, bringing lots of love and laughter. George is survived by his brother Louis (Donna) of NY, and niece Tammy (David) Sorbellini and their children of NY and nephew Michael (Rachel) and their children of CA. His son David (Teresa) and grandson, Nicholas and daughter Diane Flaig and grandson Zachary. George is also survived by several cousins. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Gilbert L. Dailey Funeral Home, 650 S. 28th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103.

Burial will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 12:30pm, September 25, 2024.
