Marlene K. Scheib, 87, passed away peacefully on the evening of Sunday, November 3, 2024, a one-of-a-kind soul returned home to God. She was born on December 16, 1936, in East Orange, New Jersey, to Otto Schreiber and Cecilia Eschmann. Marlene was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed her fireside chats with friends and family, as well as the many pets she embraced over her lifetime.

Marlene is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph L. Scheib. She is survived by her four children, Deborah Frey, of Knightdale, North Carolina, Cynthia Hodge, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Mary Jane Brickner, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, and Scott Scheib, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, grandchildren Michele Frey, Justin Etter, Ashley Eve Levan, and Elly Scheib, as well as six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life is planned for December.
