Ronald E. Miller, 87, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 20, 1937, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to Frederick Miller and Frances (Look) Miller. Ronald served in the United States Navy. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 33 years.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggyanne Miller, his children Steven Frederick (Ellen) and Rhonda Jean (Kelly Jo), Ronald and Craig, sister Gail Wix, and his granddaughters Paige, Sarah and Olivia.
A viewing will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, December 13, 2024, and from 10am to 11am on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Gilbert L. Dailey Funeral Home. A service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11am, at Gilbert L. Dailey Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow services on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at East Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Homeland at Home 1300 Vartan Way, Suite 270, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
