Dominic J. Bartholomeo age 100; passed away peacefully at UPMC Pinnacle Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, Pa on Friday, September 14, 2018. Dominic was born on January 1, 1918 in Raffadali, Sicily, Italy. He was a son to the late Salvatore B. and Antonina (D'Anna) Bartolomeo. Dominic served in the US. Army /Air Force during WWII as a Bombardier.. He was later employed as an Airplane Mechanic at the Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown, PA. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church, Harrisburg. Dominic was preceded in death by his wife Dora M. (Forlizzi) Bartholomeo. Surviving are a son, Dominic J. Bartholomeo II and wife Sandie K., a daughter, Sondra L. Allen. Grandchildren, Dominic J. and wife Wendy Bartholomeo III, Daryl A. and wife Renea Bartholomeo, Craig C. and wife Michele Bartholomeo, Kelli L. Baskerville, Angela M. and Diane Robbins, Great Grandchildren, Dominic J. Bartholomeo IV, Jordan R. Baskerville, Desean G., Gianna, Alex, Sophia, Luciana, Alana Bartholomeo, and a Great great grandchild Skylah Baskerville. We also want to thank Jacqueline Miller, friend and caregiver who took care of Dominic for 8 years. Dominic was a wonderful husband, father and friend to everyone. He will be truly missed.
