Obituary of Donald L. Carpenter
Donald L. Carpenter Sr. 72, of Shermans Dale, Perry Co. passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital. Don was born on July 14, 1946 in Mechanicsburg and was a son of the late Bruce J. Carpenter Sr. and Betty Jane Loper. He served in the United State Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was predeceased by his wife Carolyn L Carpenter (2016) Surviving are his children, Shawn W. Carpenter, Kelly J. Carpenter, brothers, Harvey L Bailey, John W. Bailey, a sister, Linda L Berkebile, grandchildren, Cody N. Carpenter, Cheyenne A. Carpenter and 4 grandchildren. Don was also predeceased by a son, Donald L Carpenter Jr. (2009), a brother Bruce J. Carpenter Sr, and a sister, Kay E. Rider. Burial with full military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
