Obituary of Dorothea W. Shenck

Dorothea W. Shenck 96, of the Middletown Home passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital. Dorothea was born on October 25, 1919 in Harrisburg and was a daughter to the late Russel S. Brightbill and Hilda P. (Ludwig) she was a former member of the Rockville United Methodist Church. Dorothea was the widow of Raymond P. Shenck who passed in 1996. Surviving are sons; Jerry P. Shenck of New Mexico, Robin S. Shenck of Carlisle, daughter Bonnie D. Franke of Florida, grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kelly, Joni, William, Bambie, Heidi, Daniel, Christine, Travis and 19 Great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a daughter Kathy R. Martz, a sister Donna L. Escardille, and a brother Russel Brightbill. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 6:30 P.M.; at the Middletown Home in the Chapel. A time of Remembrance will follow till 9: P.M. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
