Obituary of Giovanni Medaglia
Giovanni Medaglia, 84, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, November 14th,2015 at his residence.
Giovanni was born in Lappano, Italy on July 18, 1931, a son of the late Luisa Vigna and Giuseppe Medaglia.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church Harrisburg.
He worked as a bricklayer in Italy and also at Tops Restaurant in Harrisburg.
He was the husband of Maria (Appa) Medaglia.
Giovanni is survived by two daughters, Angela Imbrogno and Maria Magaro; three step daughters, Gina Speroff, Mary Serpe, and Lora Alexander; two step sons, Ernie Marsico and Vincent Marsico, Jr.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Lance Harris.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, Harrisburg, PA, at 12PM on Thursday, November 19th, 2015.
A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10AM-12PM at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church or Hospice of Central PA.
