I didn't know Laraine very well, in fact I only met her a few times. But she was a dear friend to my sister, Gina Bienkowski, who suffered a stroke a few years ago and passed away shortly thereafter. This was during COVID and I was far away, and Laraine was a rock - she was a source of strength and wisdom to me during this time and I will also treasure her words and kindness. I was very surprised to hear that she had passed, and my heart goes out to her family.

Larine was a shining star from the day I met her 30 plus years ago. I was very young with little experience, and she taught me so much about the healthcare industry. She had more experience and knowledge than anyone I had ever met, and she was willing to share and guide me through the challenges in the DME industry. Through the years we became very close friends and had so many great times together, including going to my husband's art shows. She was a big fan and made David feel very special. She was such a good person that God must have wanted her early, so we will all miss her dearly until we meet again. I am so very sorry for her family and friends that she spent time with every day. My warmest thoughts and prayers are with you. We all love you, Laraine. Kimberlie & David Bowers

Laraine was a great lady. She’s gone too soon and will be greatly missed. I always admired her ever present friendly disposition and her ability to connect with everyone around her. Rest in peace , Laraine <3

I remember Aunt Judy and Laraine coming to my husband’s Bagel bakery to check him out and let him know they were keeping an eye on him. Laraine kept coming to the Bagel shop to check on me and for a cinnamon raison bagel with peanut butter. I have been eating them that way ever since. Thanks. You were my sounding board after each of my parents deaths, (Uncle Chet and Aunt Ethel). You encouraged me to look for answers to my medical questions. Sandy and Laraine are like the dynamic duo. Once while visiting Harrisburg, I wanted to meet for lunch. She invited me to join her and Sandy at a fitness place to work out. I showed up, and so did they. I was impressed. At family gathering, If there were people laughing. Laraine was right in the middle of it. I will miss you.

So very sorry for the loss of this dear soul. I just saw Laraine a few weeks ago by chance outside a local restaurant. She was with some of her golfing buddies. I was with my new husband, Jeff. We had a brief but meaningful conversation and she was smiling with every word she spoke. We caught up on cousin talk, then parted ways with hugs. A genuinely caring person indeed. My heart goes out to Butch and all the Pelino cousins and their families during this very difficult time. Praying for each and everyone of you for peace that passes all understanding, with a loving touch from God.

To my dear Laraine& Butch and family, I’m so sorry to see you go. You have been a wonderful friend, giving, encouraging and generous to so many people, especially Sandy, in the last year. Laraine was a role model for women in healthcare. Long ago, I met Laraine through her tireless efforts in the HME industry. Always helpful, always knew the answer, or knew how to find the answer, always a guiding light for those of us getting started in the industry.
